2017/2018 reflection

2017 was year to remember. I obtained so much growth as an artist. Last year ago i didn't know who i was as an artist. I didn't know what my sound was, i didn't even know what my "stage" name would be. 2017 was the year that i found answers. I came to realize that i am a very versatile artists. Not a lot of people can say that. I like to make all types of music that all types of people can relate too. Being in MAD Academy really helped me expand on that. Being surrounded by such supportive, creative, and talented individuals really opened my eyes. I came to see that i am capable of so much more. I just needed that little push. Thats exactly what i got from my peers. They pushed me to embrace my talents and use them to make great music. I loved working with everyone. I got a little taste of all types of music. I worked on my rapping and worked on my singing. Singing was probably the one thing i didn't see myself doing. I never thought i could sing even though a lot of people said i could. It got to the point where people were asking me to sing on their songs. Im not saying im perfect at singing now, im just proud of the progress i have made. One of my favorite highlights of 2017 would proabably be when i got to record my song "Big Tngs". This is a song that i made to showcase my rapping. I love this song simply because theres no chorus, no hook. Just me spittin' for 4 minutes.
