Human hearing
One thing we in MAD studied this cycle was human hearing. Its important to understand human hearing as a musician and as a recording artist because without any knowledge, the music you create can turn out to be not as efficient with low quality.
The range of human hearing in hertz is usually given as 20-20,000 hz.What is infrasound? Its hertz?- infrasound is often referred to as low-frequency sound. It is sound that is lower in frequency than 20 hz, the “normal” limit of human hearing. It usually covers sounds beneath 20 hz down to 0.1 hz and rarely to 0.001 hz.What is ultrasound? Its hertz?Ultrasound isn’t that different from normal sound in its physical properties but us humans cannot hear it. This limit is differs from person to person and is 20,000 hertz in young adults. The human ear has different parts that have different jobs. The outer ear, the middle ear, and the inner ear.The outer ear is where your ear flap is located. The ear flap protects the middle ear from damage to the eardrum. The outer ear also channels sound waves that can reach the ear through the ear canal to the eardrum of the middle ear. The length of the ear canal allows sounds with frequencies of 3000 hz to be amplified.
